Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Colombia with Camilo, we understand that travel plans may change. Because our tours are personalized and planned with care, we have designed the following policy to balance flexibility for you with respect for our local partners, guides, and schedule logistics.
1. Cancellations by the Customer.
a. Private Day Tours (e.g., Guatavita, Zipaquirá, Bogotá city tours):

100% refund if canceled 48 hours or more before the scheduled tour time.

50% refund if canceled between 24–47 hours before the scheduled tour time.

No refund if canceled less than 24 hours before the tour or in case of no-show.
b. Multi-day or Custom Tours (e.g., overnight trips, personalized multi-day itineraries)

100% refund if canceled 7 days or more in advance.

50% refund if canceled between 3–6 days before the tour start date.

No refund if canceled less than 72 hours before departure.
Note: Custom costs (e.g., hotel reservations, transport bookings) that are non-refundable will be deducted from any refund due.
2. Changes and Rescheduling
We allow one-time rescheduling at no cost, provided the request is made:

At least 24 hours in advance for day tours

At least 72 hours in advance for multi-day tours
New dates are subject to availability. Additional costs may apply if services (e.g., hotels or third-party tickets) must be rebooked.
3. Cancellations by us
If we must cancel a tour due to weather conditions, guide illness, safety concerns, or force majeure (e.g., road closures, political unrest), you will receive:

A full refund, or
-
The option to reschedule, based on your preference
4. Refund Method
All approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal, bank transfer).
